We Think About Saving Lives
A Message from Engineer Ali Molaei, Founder and CEO of Andisheh Industrial Group
My deep sense of organizational commitment — and the mental and physical fatigue I experienced during my employment years — led me to start something of my own, hoping it would bring me peace.
But as I devoted countless days and nights to this dream, sacrificing sleep and comfort, Andisheh was born in 1984. Soon after, I realized that my organizational commitment had transformed into a social responsibility — a much heavier one that, if neglected, could easily break one’s spirit.
Yet through the dedication and passion of a devoted team, a company was built whose internal and external influence elevated this sense of responsibility to what I call the “Fourth Tune” (inspired by the teachings of Allameh Mohammad-Taqi Jafari in Sharh-e Masnavi). Andisheh Industrial Group is, in essence, the result of that “Fourth Tune.”
From the very beginning, we have believed that quality is not merely a product of technology — it is born from thought, effort, and faith in the value of human life.
At Andisheh, we are committed not only to manufacturing, but to safety, peace of mind, and a better future.
History of Andisheh Industrial Group
An Idea That Saves Lives
In the mid-1980s, when Iran’s industry was still taking its first steps toward self-sufficiency, a group of visionary Iranian engineers set out to achieve something that would later make the name “Andisheh” one of the cornerstones of automotive safety in Iran and the Middle East.
Andisheh Industrial Group was founded in 1984, emerging from a passionate mold-making workshop. What began as a modest effort to produce plastic molds soon evolved into a national vision — one centered not merely on production, but on the protection of human life.
A decade later, in 1994, the group launched its first major project: the development of automotive seat belts in Iran. After three years of research, testing, and refinement, the first Iranian-made seat belt prototypes were successfully produced in 1997, earning the approval of domestic automakers and opening a new chapter in the nation’s automotive safety industry.
With continuous growth, advanced equipment, and the construction of a new manufacturing plant, the company reemerged in 1999 under the name Andisheh Imeni Khodro (Andisheh Automotive Safety Industries) — gradually transforming from a local manufacturer into a symbol of Iranian engineering, resilience, and quality.
From Mold Making to Safety Technology
The 2000s marked a decade of growth and transformation for Andisheh Industrial Group.
In 2002, the group established the most advanced seat belt testing laboratory in the Middle East, in collaboration with Japanese and Korean partners — a milestone that brought global safety standards into the heart of Iran’s automotive industry.
A year later, in 2003, the launch of Andisheh Fine Blanking Co. enabled the production of high-precision safety components, achieving levels of accuracy and quality never before seen in the country.
Success followed success — the company earned ISO/TS and ISO 9001 certifications, the Iran National Standard Mark, and was recognized as a National Industrial Role Model Unit.
In 2008, a major leap was made through a formal partnership with TRW Automotive, the renowned European giant, allowing Andisheh to introduce and localize the latest seat belt and airbag manufacturing technologies in Iran for the first time.
That same year, several specialized subsidiaries were founded — including Andisheh Safety Tape Manufacturing, Andisheh Torsion Springs, and Imensazan Khodro Andisheh — completing a fully integrated automotive safety production chain within the country.
In the years that followed, Andisheh became a trusted tier-one supplier to major automakers such as Iran Khodro, SAIPA, Pars Khodro, and Bahman Motor.
During the 2010s, through collaboration with German and Austrian technology partners, Andisheh commissioned advanced laser cutting, airbag sewing, and magnesium die-casting lines equipped with ABB robots — elevating the group from a traditional manufacturer to a cutting-edge automotive safety technology center.
The Beating Heart of Quality
At the core of all these advancements lies a facility often referred to as the heart of Andisheh Industrial Group — its state-of-the-art testing laboratory.
Today, this lab stands among the most advanced automotive safety testing centers in the Middle East, equipped with more than seventy precision testing machines from Japan, Korea, and Germany. Every test is conducted in full compliance with international standards such as ECE R16, PSA, and other global safety regulations.
Certified under ISO/IEC 17025 and recognized as an official partner laboratory of the Iranian National Standards Organization, this facility serves not only Andisheh Industrial Group but also the entire Iranian automotive industry as a trusted reference center for testing and quality validation.
Looking to the Future – From Metal to Mind
Continuing its path of innovation, Andisheh Industrial Group took a major step toward sustainability in 2019 with the establishment of Bazyaft Maghnezium Andisheh.
This division — comprising magnesium recycling, aluminum recycling, and magnesium die-casting units — has become one of the pioneers of light metal recycling technology in the Middle East.
In conventional production, obtaining just one kilogram of magnesium from raw materials requires around 35 kWh of energy.
Through Andisheh’s advanced recycling technology, the same amount can be achieved with only 3 kWh — a 95% reduction in energy consumption, a substantial decrease in environmental emissions, and a major step toward a circular economy and sustainable green manufacturing.
In 2024, with the establishment of the knowledge-based company Tose’e San’at Electronics Andisheh, the group officially entered the digital era of automotive technology — an era in which safety is no longer defined solely by mechanical parts, but by intelligence, connectivity, and innovation.
Management Philosophy – Quality as a Belief, Not a Slogan
In the vision of Engineer Ali Molaei, founder of Andisheh Industrial Group, quality is not a slogan — it is the essence of organizational culture.
He firmly believes:
“No form of customer dissatisfaction is acceptable, and any deviation must be resolved fundamentally and in the shortest possible time.”
This conviction has flowed through the organization’s veins for over four decades.
Andisheh is a company that, through its IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 17025 certifications, has earned not only compliance with international standards — but also the trust and confidence of an entire nation.
Today, Andisheh Is More Than a Name
Today, Andisheh Industrial Group stands not merely as a manufacturer, but as a symbol of Iranian engineering excellence and determination.
From laboratory to production line, from mold making to metal recycling technology, and from mechanical engineering to intelligent electronics, Andisheh has proven at every step that it is possible to think and act on a global level — right here in Iran.
